My little "how to
barefoot story"
-
First you need a boat ...

|
- You start submerged under water with
your feet on the rope. Then you
let the boat
pull you up to a sitting position.

|
- Let the boat get up to about 72 km/hr.
- Then roll onto the small of your back

|
- Plant your "bare feet" into the
water.
- KEEP YOUR TOES RELAXED!

|
Slowly pull yourself up.

|
Now, keep your head up.

|
Wave to the crowd!

|
Keep footin' until sundown.

|
- And then pull off a couple of tricks before
calling it a day.
- This is a tumble turn where you turn around on
your back at 72 km/hr.,
- and then "replant" you feet and keep on
going for another trick!

If you get bored of
barefooting then there is always something else
to do behind the boat. These are other water
sports that tend not to hurt as much when you
fall. Imagine a 72 km/hr face plant ... the water
isn't soft at that speed! For instance, think of
a "belly flop" and smacking yourself
face first at the same time! Falling at that
speed tends to give you a bit of a headache.
