Groom's Speech (Rehearsal)

We are very happy to be around the people that mean so much to us tonight.

I'd like to thank our parents for all the support and patience they've shown us as we've planned for our wedding day. You guys mean a lot to us and we want you to know that even though we don't mention it as much as we should, we love and respect you and appreciate everything that you do for us.

To our wedding party, thank you for standing by us and for all your help. I'd like to thank the girls for helping with the wedding preparations and for keeping my fianc‚e as calm as possible. The guys, we'd like to thank you for your continued friendship and support. A special thanks for Great Friday and for getting me home safely. Another special thanks to you Bob, Lou and Melanie for standing by ours sides tomorrow as co-Best Men and Matron of Honour. And to my nieces and nephews. Actually, I should say our nieces and nephews since I think they like Deb more. We are so happy that you are a part of our wedding day - we are very proud of each of you.

Thanks everyone for a fun and successful Stag & Doe. Sherry for all your efforts, our parents, my brothers and everyone else who helped with the evening. As well as a special thanks to the bridesmaids and Sherry, Anne and Carolyn for hosting the two showers for Deb.

A few other thank you's - to Carolyn for accepting our request to be our MC - you will do a wonderful job tomorrow. As well as a thank you to Al, Peter and Richard for participating in the wedding ceremony as Readers - it is greatly appreciated. We are honoured to have the four of you participate in a special way on our wedding day.

A special thanks to Shawn who travelled from North Carolina, Rick, Wenda and Jason who have travelled from Bermuda, Nadia from Philadelphia and Chris a Kathy from California for coming to witness our marriage.

And last but not least, thank you Deb for being you. Words cannot describe the way I feel about you. You've made me the happiest man alive. I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you.

I'd like to propose a toast to everyone here tonight, to our family and closest friends for supporting our relationship and helping with the wedding preparations. Here is to a beautiful day tomorrow. Cheers!
