Now what can a father say about a daughter like Deb.. you look absolutely beautiful, radiant, happy and in love with the man of your dreams..We love you. From the day you were born, you were the absolute delight of your mother and I..You will always be my little girl.

Dave, we are delighted to welcome you with love into our family. We've come to appreciate you as the person who Deb has entrusted with her love, and my wife and I want to wish you both every happiness.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for coming today and sharing in this wonderful celebration.

Deb, once said, that there was just the three of us..we have always been there for each other..well now there are four...and someday maybe more.

I have a little story to tell..shortly after Deb and Dave started dating, they planned to drop into visit us at the boat one Friday evening on their way to visit Anne and Lou at the cottage. Wayne and I had arrived at the boat earlier that day and were preparing dinner for their arrival. We were chatting in the pavilion at the marina with Hugh and Al...they both commented they wanted to check this Dave out...I replied..you two be nice..Dave's a keeper.

To Ann and Lou and their family, we look forward to sharing and being apart of Deb and Dave's future together. Life like laughter and love is better when shared.

On the day before Mother's Day. and we have a number of mothers here today..Happy Mother's Day. Two unforgettable Mother's Days for Ann and I..last year, the engagement, this year the wedding...next year??????

From an old saying "What a Mother holds Dear...A Mother holds her children's hands for just a little while, but she holds their hearts forever".. From the love you have for each other, may you build a lifetime of happiness. We love you both, may God bless you.
